Terms of Service
Last updated: June 7, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the LegiCycle platform (the “Service”). By signing in or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.
1. Eligibility & accounts
The Service is intended for legislative, policy, and government-affairs professionals. You are responsible for the security of your account and for all activity under it.
2. Not legal advice; no attorney–client relationship
LegiCycle is a software tool, not a law firm, and does not provide legal advice or legal services. The Service’s AI features — including drafting, research, and the assistant — generate informational output that may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect, and may produce inaccurate citations. Nothing in the Service constitutes legal advice, and your use of it does not create an attorney–client relationship. You are solely responsible for reviewing all output, verifying it against primary sources, and consulting a licensed attorney before relying on it for any decision, filing, or legal matter.
3. AI-generated content
Outputs are generated by automated systems and may vary in quality. You must independently verify any statute, case citation, factual claim, or legal conclusion before use. You are responsible for content you submit and for any work product you create, export, or file using the Service.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to provide unauthorized legal services to third parties;
- misrepresent AI-generated output as reviewed legal advice;
- attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its data sources;
- upload content you lack the right to share, or that infringes others’ rights.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant LegiCycle a limited license to host, process, and transmit that content (including to the subprocessors described in our Privacy Policy) solely to operate and provide the Service.
6. Third-party and public data
The Service may surface legislative information drawn from public government sources. Such data is provided “as is” without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or timeliness, and you should confirm it against official sources.
7. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE OR ANY OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE, RELIABLE, OR ERROR-FREE.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LEGICYCLE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM YOUR RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED OUTPUT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to protect the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms and will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
